Grid-side energy storage helps balance the supply and demand of power generation, distribution, and consumption. This avoids over-generation on the grid side and reduces the power supply gap in the grid. Moreover, it can improve the utilization efficiency of power generation equipment and reduce the investment in grid construction. ZTT 6MWH BESS Project (Container type)
The system consists of three 500kW/2MWh subsystems. One subsystem is connected to a 630kVA booster transformer. And the other two subsystems are connected to a 1250kVA dual-split booster transformer, boosting to 10kV and connected to the grid.
As knows, it is for 10kV-side peak clipping, valley filling and load tracking in ZTT industrial park. Meanwhile, it combines with photovoltaic to effectively smooth PV output and improve power quality.
The average system conversion efficiency reaches 86~91%.
